Intel Outside?
..and Tron inside.
Oh my good god. Why would you do that to an innocent automobile?
I’m not so sure about that capital ‘s’, Rob.
I would always be able to find it in the parking lot which would be a plus in my book.
No matter what color you paint it, it’ll still have dangerous understeer.

They park that thing outside the building I work in. It is an odd paint job, but not that bad. You need better pictures. You really need to see the sides.
Ugh. While I can see a place for these cars, I can’t understand what urge causes people to buy them outside of their niche.
Is it “Conspicuous Environmentalism”?
I live in New England. The closer you get to Cambridge, the more of these things you see. They have little tiny wheels and no ground clearance. We get several inches of snow a week here in the winter. They get stuck. They spin. They’re the wrong tool for the job. The car may be called “smart”, but if you’re driving one of these in a snow storm it doesn’t make you any less stupid.
If you live in Southern Californa, and want something for a solo commute, by all means, buy one of these things. But if you live in Boston… What the hell are you thinking?
I’m still not convinced that smartcars are a good idea. they’re more expensive than my prius was, has a smaller trunk, and gets worse mileage.
