LEGO brands Digital Blue gadgets

Digital Blue and LEGO have announced a partnership to bring several brightly-colored brick-branded products to market, and this cute little digicam (specs unknown, price still unknown $59) is one of the results. You can't actually smash it apart into its component pieces — well, you can, but unlike most LEGO objects, you will not be able to reassemble it — but it still makes me happy: we've all got an affinity for the chaotic rainbow chromatism of kindergarten color schemes here at BBG.

There was a cute little set for making stopmotion lego movies that included a little lego webcam kind of like that. The fact that it could snap to lego pieces was actually very useful, because you could make tripods and working dollies for the camera to film to action.

Better late than never... LEGO should be faster to market things that we (adult brick lovers) buy since they are not so popular with kids today so they will need more and more gadgets like to make money... anyway they are better than PLAYMOBIL...

Too bad Digital Blue's track record is so awful; their Disney products are absolute crap.

I'm still kicking myself for not getting a Golf Harlequin at just above dealer invoice when I had the chance.
