Pro:Motion keyboard staves off Carpal Tunnel

ergokeyboard.jpg

The Pro:Motion keyboard aims to help carpal tunnel sufferers ("wussies") get through the typing of the day by cycling through a series of set ergonomic positions, never letting your wrists rest too long in one position. It's a good looking keyboard, and ergonomic adjustment while typing seems, if not useful to me, then at least rather serene, like typing upon the undulations of a white plastic wave. It will cost you $130 over at Everything USB.

I'm on my keyboard for a minimum of 8 hours a day. I used to get hand cramps. The best thing I ever did for my hands was buy a pound of putty. I play with it idly all day long, and my hands never cramp up anymore. And it's fun.

Apparently I fat-fingered the link. I got my putty from here.

Nice looking, but I prefer keyboards without numeric keypads, like my Goldtouch model. Who wants to reach over the keypad just to get to the mouse?
