This is such a great idea, it’s irritating that these 2GB USB flash drive glasses aren’t actually wearable: they’re being advertised as book marks.

what makes this idea so great?
it’s great because when you take your glasses off to stick them in you USB port, the whole world is given a nice Gaussian softness.
If the glasses were actually glasses it would be pretty cool. Two of my friends have to take off their glasses to see the computer screen and one of those friends consistently looses his glasses. Double WIN.
Great? This would be stupid. Consider: If these were your actual prescription glasses, how would you be able to see what you are typing on the screen?
Now, if those were sunnies, I might by some.
I would buy them, just to enact the following scenario at work:
Boss: What the fuck is hanging off your machine?
Me: My new virtual reality goggles. They’re recharging.
Boss: Lemme see em.
Me: Fuck off, they’re recharging.
(Boss comes back later, glasses are now safely put away)
Boss: Lemme see your goggles.
Me: What goggles?
I love my job.

And they’re a great idea because….?
They’re a “great” idea because they prioritize form over function.
#7 – no, they are a mildly amusing idea because they prioritize form over function. The novelty will wear off very quickly.
This wouldn’t even be a good bookmark, it’s too thick.
Th “directory of wonderful things” has lost its way.
I see what you did there.
#8: I’m sorry, my quotation marks around “great” were meant to imply sarcasm.

If you’re myopic nearsighted. . .
