Thirty bucks in Japan, the Sound Accel Pedal issues engine noise at three levels, depending on how hard you push it.

This would be great if it included the sound of “peeling rubber”. I’d use it just before walking out of a boring meeting.
just asking to be circuitbent
Reminds me of the Cyril M. Kornbluth short story “The Marching Morons”; in an Idiocracy future, in order to convince people that their cars go really fast, when they step on the accelerator a jet engine noise plays, completely unrelated to the actual relatively slow acceleration.
Kinda like those present day buzz bomb mufflers people will bolt to their crappy cars. God do I hate that noise.
#4: I’ve heard those called “fart cannons.”
those will be soon in use for electric cars
