The 3D Solar System Puzzle.
This puzzle kit enables children to make their own three-dimensional models of the Solar System’s eight planets. Each planet is formed by snapping a series of numbered, curved non-toxic plastic pieces together until it forms a sphere, requiring no glue; arrows printed on the inside of each piece indicate the construction sequence. Planets range from 24 to 144 pieces, and when complete, each reveals the same observable surface details seen from space, including Jupiter’s Great Red Spot, and the red hues of Mars. Each planet may be hung using fishing line (included) to form a mobile, or each can be placed on the included space poster using accompanying plastic stands. German-made, for ages 9 and up. Poster measures 38 1/2″ L x 29 1/2″ W. (1 l b.)
