   I bought my Mio C230 when I read of an unlock package available on the web that turned it into a surprisingly capable little media player/PDA.

   As a GPS is was merely mediocre, but I accepted that for the additional hackability.

   The interface requires getting used to and the map data is generally dated.
   That’s going to be true across the board from what I’ve seen of the Moov 200, 300, and 500 as well as the “Knight Rider” model.

   Be ready.
