Asus’s ultrathin netbook, the 1008HA, made its debut today at the CeBIT show in Germany. An inch-thick and 2.4 pounds, it’s got a new look and a lower price tag than the similar Asus S101. See that nice big right shift key?
Asus also reports that it has determined “Eee” stands for “Easy, Excellent, and Exciting.” It had previously determined that Eee stood for “Easy to learn, Easy to work, Easy to play.”
In 1008, Viking warlord Olaf Haraldsson invaded Estonia, and the Fatimid empire established an embassy in China.
