Morning tech deals highlights

Earbuds – A variety of low-end but perfectly okay earbud headphones on Amazon for $10-25. Free shipping over $25 orders. [Slickdeals]

DSLR – Refurbished Nikon D60 with lens for $400, shipped, about $80 off a new model. [Dealoco]

iPhone FilesFileAid, a simple reader application for the iPhone platform that reads things like TIFF, Word, CAF, and WAV files (among more common formats), is available today for free. [Dealnews]

Monitor – Dell has dropped the price of its 1080p, 24-inch widescreen LCD panel to $224, shipped. I was going to buy one, however, and the 10% coupon couldn’t work. YMMV. They aren’t the nicer 3,000:1 contrast panels that Dell also sells, but I’m sure they’re good enough for government work. [Dealnews]

LEGO – A one-year subscription to LEGO Brickmaster magazine, six LEGO toys (small kits every two months), two ShopAtHome coupons, and a LEGOLAND California ticket for $41, shipped. Having not been a subscriber to the magazine already nor having ever been to LEGOLAND, I’ve just signed up. This was an expensive deals round-up for me this morning, but I think it’s time I made it to LEGOLAND, especially now that I can drive right to it. [Dealnews]

Watch – Today’s Woot are the Egana National Geographic Watches for $55, shipped.

    There’s… a Legoland in California?

Joel, there’s a Microbrewery on the other side of the hill from Legoland called Karl Strauss, a great European Deli & Restaurant just down the hill called Tip-Top Meats (order the Big John for Breakfast & either the Prime Rib Special or a Schnitzel for dinner and you’ll be full for the day), and good Pizza & great Microbrews at Pizza Port down in Carlsbad Village.

Which of the Amazon Earbuds is the best quality/price deal?

I’ve been waiting so long to upgrade from my standard iPod buds with the cruddy belkin snap-ons

I get my earbuds from dealextreme.com for like $4 so I don’t worry when they wander away (Where the heck do they GO anyway??)

Wanna meetup to go to Legoland? It’s actually pretty depressing because the maintenance and cleaning are SERIOUSLY lacking but Miniland is totally worth it.
