For 13 bucks get the PQI 8GB SDHC card.
Even though they benchmark among the slower Class 6 cards they still run away from that standard Class 2 Sandisk model in read/write speeds.
I’ve read some bad reviews about PQI branded cards, but I’ve owned three of them so far with zero problems to report after a year plus of usage.
You can get the Sandisk card in the name of reliability if your application won’t see the speed difference, but the reliability factor isn’t enough for me when i’m pricing memory card under 20 dollars.
Takes a lot of guts to admit your NAS is <1TB!
-better than admitting it isn’t
oops, I forgot that the less-than sign is bad for HTML…
Takes a lot of guts to admit your NAS is less than 1TB!!
I think it’s time to stop posting Woot “deals” just because they’re from Woot. It’s been a long time since they had anything I’d call a deal.
$20 for an 8GB SDHC card is not that good of a deal at all. 16GB class 6 cards have been $29 shipped from newegg for at least 6 months
