Yeah, like others said. This was on the regular U.S. Muppet Show… This is just a Spanish dub…
Wow, that’s neat?
What’s the battery life on that gadget?
7 hours with the screen dimmed, you muppet!
Is Brownlee gone from BBG for good? Was he eaten alive in Mauritius?
The pronunciation of Chewbacca is worth the price of admission.
brownlee appears to have landed at geek.com
Zoopy, that’s right. He was eaten alive in Mauritius.
Well, his writing will be missed.
This was a standard English version of the “Muppet Show”, dubbed in Spanish. I remember watching it. I’ll look for a link.
A youtube search for
Muppet show star wars episode
will turn up the one I remember.
The preemptive defense tag wasn’t necessary; Droids are gadgets.
Just for the record: that is not an Spanish show, it’s Mexican. Huge difference believe me
I like it better in English.
Thanks, I really needed the chuckle, but damn it must be a slow tech news day…
@4 Brownlee gone? I hadn’t noticed. At the same time I’m saddened to learn of his departure from BB. He is the Andy Kaufman of gadget blogging. I’d like to continue to read him at his new frontier, wherever it is. (Unless it’s Twitter. There are some things that even I won’t do.)
Actually George Lucas has said that this episode of the Muppets is canon with the Star Wars story line.
Isn’t that Castle Greyskull in the background?
