Hot Stone Grill

hot-stone-grill-giles-and-posner.jpg.jpgGiles & Posner, which seems to specialize is mostly useless culinary monstrosities like fondue fountains, also sells this Hot Stone Grill that lets you cook shishkebob like a Phoenician George Foreman. It's a relatively affordable £30, plus shipping. [via Appliancist]

I have actually cooked on hot stone before and it's a lot of fun but I wouldn't pay for this.

A fondue fountain useless ?!? Do it to a bunch of kids and they'll worship you !!!

As for this device, making a pierrade is a very healthy way to eat meat (no extra fat) and everybody cooks it to his own liking.

This looks like it would be a huge hassle to clean. I'll just use the propane grill on the porch for my kebabs.

Seems like one could just put a granite tile on a hotplate.

Now, a decent dolsot (돌솥) seller–well, that would be a find...
