Music in Games, Part II

kingcosmos2.jpg

In the second part of Boing Boing Video’s conversation with Peter Kirn and Matt Ganucheau about generative and experimental audio in games, the debate ends on a high note.

One that involves dance.

(Anyone know where this pic comes from? I suspect it is not official promotional work.)

That picture is from the Katamari games! (http://katamari.namco.com) The image probably *is* official promotional work – the graphics in the game are pretty fantastic (and decidedly odd).

And the soundtrack to the original Katamari Damacy was wonderfully impressive!
