Genki Wear, makers of the Star Trek colognes we mentioned last month, just sent me this ad for their third and final scent: “Pon Farr”, for women.
Is this how trekkie women get men to “boldly go where no man has gone before” ?
I think the perfume advert would be better if they spelled “perfume” correctly, personally. Or is this some sort of Klingon in-joke impenetrable to non-trekkies?
“Pefume”? Seriously? Where were the copy editors the day this ad was typeset?
Pon Farr Perfume – when you only want him to have sex with you once every seven years…
@#1 – wrong episode. Pon Farr is the Vulcan mating time. The episode is “Amok Time” – Spock must return to Vulcan to mate, and in the end is forced to fight Kirk in an ancient Vulcan tradition.
Obligatory “They Made That Joke 3 Years Ago” post:
Haha! I want this so much! But pefume?
I remember this episode. Someone brings some alien perfume on board and it drives the men literally crazy. Even Spock gets affected.
Pong Far. Drive him away – far far away.
