    The seond picture looks like a 407 lister – a machine used to list your output (cards) after they were punched out. The board she’s holding is used to perform crude programming on the format of the output by moving the wires around. Ahh the good old days…

    Mappo, naah.. It’s a machine made by International Business Machines. So it’s an International Business Machines machine. Kind of like if you buy yogurt from TCBY, you have TCBY yogurt, not TCBY itself. But you don’t use an ATM machine, you use an ATM. Probably a Diebold ATM.
