The "Haminal" is a cute, cubish plushie that comes in its own meat tin. $12, plus shipping. [via Serious Eats]
I picked one of these up from the artist with the accompanying booklet at San Diego Comic-Con, and my niece loved it. I picked up a little “sushi” sized plush for myself; supercute.
The Rocket Fist (one of the two sellers documented on the Hamimal site) INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY is a delightful read.
(Homer): Are you saying you’re never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
(Homer): Pork chops?
(Lisa): Dad! Those all come from the same animal!
(Homer): Heh heh heh … ooh … yeah right, Lisa. A wonderful … magical animal.
You’ll find similar canned plushies containing local fauna in finer tourist shops nearly everywhere.
I’ve seen wombats and kangaroos from Australia, bears from Yellowstone, etc.
And thus I am vegan.
