Vaja case for Vaio P

Vaja, maker of stunning cases for MacBooks and Sony Vaios, added the Vaio P to its offerings. I'm tempted, but it's $120! On the other hand, I did pay $700 for a netbook. After the jump, the latest hardcover edition.

Where?
I can't stop thinking of Oprah saying vajayjay when I read this headline.
Crikey their flagship 13" Macbook case has a starting price /higher than that of the laptop/. ($1200 vs $999)
Whoah. Fancy stuff there.
I carry my netbook in a bag anyway so a case like this wouldn't work for me, but hey go for it if you can.
They're nice looking!
Sorry Rob, you called Vaja "Vaka" in the first sentence, but I see you already corrected it.
I had a Vaja case for my first Handspring Visor, it was beautifully made.
oh man, the PSP case looks great, but it's a bit too bulky to fit in to a pocket... and I think it's designed for the old fatties.
I bet you only posted this so you could source it as "Vaja via jkk via giz"
Bobby, I totally fixed that after commenting "Where?". Consider yourself pwnd.
Ia! Ia! Vaja via jkk via giz ftaghn!
Oooh, the hinged ones are way nicer, IMHO. Never would have considered that from the flap one shown in the summary.
OMG! Where did you find a Vaio P for $700?!
No, seriously. Its an insane price for a netbook and the price is a good $200 (the cost of a normal netbook) insaner than you think it is.
The problem is, I never knew I needed one of these until just now. Now I must have one! It's simply gorgeous. I'll have to buy both the vaio and the case. I don't think $820 is to much for something beautiful to carry! Less than a Vuitton, right?!
The hinged ones are totally sweet. Rob, how is the Vaio holding up for you? Any buyer's remorse or is it still awesome?
The Vaio P starts at $899, if I'm not mistaken...
No buyer's remorse, but I'm still not satisfied with performance, nor the lack of good Windows 7 drivers for the video chipset. I'm probably going to downgrade to XP to get it sweet.
It's not even a great netbook, though it is serviceable enough. Definitely much better than the old Vaio Picturebook from the 1999-2004 era was.
What it is, to me, is a perfect writing machine; about the minimum reasonable size you could get a netbook built around a decent keyboard!
At this point, though, I'd maybe wait for Sony to show it's hand regarding a second-gen model. All these fancy cases appearing suggest a healthy aftermarket, so it's might have been a success.
I'm typing on a netbook (not the P) hence my Popeye talk.
I would Rob, but that's how my favorite English teacher (Mrs. Priest, Robert E. Lee HS in Houston) would correct our papers. You had to figure out what you did wrong. It's actually very effective for correcting most errors.
Thanks for the mini-review. I don't really need a mini notebook, but I've been looking at them anyway. It's nice to hear what living with one is like.
