Periscope Lighted Folio for Kindle 2

Periscope manages to take the clean lines of the Amazon Kindle 2 and wrap it in more leatherette straps and pockets than that time we accidentally started sending the S&M catalogs to the Accounts Payable department. But hey, at least there’s a light.

This looks exactly like some of the things they had for the dot-matrix Nintendo Game Boy!

Nothing like crazy niche-market gizmos to “stimulate” the economy.

e-Readers don’t need external light sources.

They need little built-in kick stands so you can read at the table without having to prop them up on your (well, my) wallet and relying on the friction of the pleather ‘executive’ case…

…How long before they release this with a Moleskine cover? :-P
