NuBarro reinvents the wheelbarrow, again

Thumbnail image for mm_large.jpg

The NuBarro‘s polypropylene roller wheel never needs pumping, never goes flat and can hold up to 750 lbs, allegedly. Just don’t tell James Dyson, whose Ballbarrow debuted in 1974 and eventually evolved into a vaccuum.

Is this the same outfit that made it impossible to buy the original Dyson Ballbarrow in this country?

One of my nutty neighbors tried to throw away a perfectly good molded plastic (two-wheeled) ‘barrow and neither the trash guys nor the recycling guys would take it.
After it sat on the curb for a week I finally knocked on their door and asked for it.

They were as relieved to get rid of it as I was glad to get it!
That stupid thing has been so AWESOME for hauling stuff around, and I just hang it up on hooks on my shed wall out of the way when I don’t use it.
    (Like THEY could have done.)

Mine has plastic wheels and has shown no signs of wearing out, so if they made THIS one right it should be pretty robust as well.

Can’t mix cement in that thing though.

Looks great for hauling wood, kind of hard to carry soil, dead leaves, other garden junk, or (as the poster above said) to mix cement in.

Call it a firewood hauler, maybe?
