Video: Howto composite photos over time, not space

David Carroll took a stab at replicating the “Time, Not Space” composite photography of Peter Funch (which Cory linked a while back.) And he was kind enough to make a short video showing the process. Looks simple enough, provided you have patience! Now I am dreaming of a room full of sleeping bulldogs.

    Thanks Joel!

Room full of sleeping bulldogs eh? Hmm… Time to call my local SPCA and see if I can “borrow” a room full of dogs for a while…..

For the record, I said photoshop in the clip, but GIMP is definitely the way to go for this stuff.

I REALLY like this idea. I’m definitely gonig to try it out for emptying a shot as opposed to filling it. The short clip of Parliament Hill reminded me how hard it is to get a shot of friends/family in crowded public spaces when you’re not interested in a photo of a group of strangers.

    thnx
