   The idea is to summer in the Med, winter in the tropics. A lot of these boats are not really designed for an Atlantic crossing if the going gets rough. Add in the 3-4 week trip with a captain, crew, return air tickets & the provisioning needed and financially it probably starts to make sense.

   #2 – Most of these boats would spend a good deal of time under power so the Yacht Express may actually be more environmentally sound.
