I remember these. They were a little messy to get the cups out, spilling a bit if not careful. BUT! I wonder what the end-to-end energy efficiency of this vs. can vending machines is? Eliminates the can, eliminates the cost of trucking cans full of water long distances (assume this was connected directly to water mains). Maybe going back to this style of vending would help with the carbon emission reduction thing?
