I don't know how much custom leatherwork costs, but that doesn't seem too outrageous for bespoke work. I wouldn't have minded a smaller (4 oz.-glass-sized)version at the last beer fest that I went to. They might want to make a clip/belt-loop version, though, before someone else does.
I can't exactly run down to Mexico, but I spent 2 minutes on Google and came across holsterup.com, they have them for 15. Gonna be awesome on my fishing trip.
If we speak of leather, genuine leather I may say, its really expensive: Loved the style and durability. A good gift for wine drinkers though. But if you prefer to have a less costing wine holder, I may suggest wine hampers.

Nice, but you could carry an insulated six pack with the "Beer Belt", http://www.after5catalog.com/beer-belt-insulated-p-1290.html?cPath=17_19

That's mighty impressive, pardner. But you might want to take the safety off that beer before you mosey down main street.

That's ridiculously expensive. In Tijuana you get these for both beer cans and bottles for like $5 a piece.

The Brew Holster Cult is a much more affordable and customizable alternative: http://brewholstercult.com/. Brought to you by members of AC/DShe.

I picked up two of these in Mexico last month for 150 pesos. That's like $13.
Ridiculously priced for an unoriginal concept.

This looks like an awesome tool in every single guy's tool belt. Though $125 sounds a bit expensive.
