Yes, the Fit PC 2 is tiny

A tiny nettop with the 1080p-happy Z530 Atom, HDMI and an upgradeable hard drive just came in though the letterbox. Review coming soon.

Is that Mini-USB at the front? Fail.

is it quiet?
can you use an iPod touch as a remote (not have to turn on the tv/monitor to browse music)?

First impressions:

Why aren’t they pushing audio over the HDMI connection?

Really, how hard would it be to support SDHC?

Also, why miniSD? Why not full size or micro. I don’t know anyone who uses miniSD.

This one is really facepalm – the front USB sockets are mini USB. As in, ‘you-cant-stick-your-thumb-drive-in-em’ mini USB. To top it off, the full size ones in back are too close together for most USB sticks as well. You’ll end up having to unplug the adjacent cable in a lot of instances, and having to reach around ot the back to find a full size USB port is ridiculous. WHO NEEDS TWO, I SAY, TWO MINI USB PORTS AT ALL, LET ALONE IN THE FRONT???

I'd love to play with one to see how it stacks up against my MSI Wind Barebones.

Mini SD because the unpopular hardware is (probably) HELLA cheap to buy and smaller than standard SD. (You just stick the end user with finding a decent micro SD to Mini SD adapter.)

I'd rather not see the micro USB connectors, but again they might be cheap to buy. (see above for the catch) Interesting nonetheless.

Good stuff BBG.

Looks like it has 4 regular size USB ports in the back. http://is.gd/1h3MH
