Ah, and the Vatican has since said Limbo doesn’t exist for un-baptised children.
Denunciation by the Vatican is one of my favourite pasttimes.
Imagine what they’d say if they found there were hoardes of roaming priests assaulting children!
Synchronicity. I just got a copy of Luis Buñuel’s Viridiana and was reading the liner notes. The movie was banned in Spain and denounced by the Vatican as blasphemous for a variety of reasons, but among them was the use of crucifix-knife during one of the scenes.
Perhaps it’s overly pedantic of me, but I’d probably call this a stiletto rather than a dagger.
