Ha, sweet, the 1/2" CV reel-to-reel video tape. I have a big box of this stuff in my archives and no player to digitise it with. I bought a player from eBay but it turned out to be defective, so still I sit, with footage from the late sixties and early seventies slowly decomposing on its reels. *sigh*
#6, No video player made that long ago will still be in working condition.
Take it to a repair shop and let them have a go at it. And be sure to get a repair shop with a technician who's been in the business for over 30 years!

Pretty amazing that lady can get a shot of her kid resting on the coping, while the camera is pointed at the ladder on the far side.

Love the iron sights on the camera.
