Wow this is totally cool. I have memories of Gigantor from even before Speed Racer when I was a kid back in the late 60s or early 70s. Frankly I cannot even remember exactly when but Just that it was after school on Channel 11 around Brakeman Bill here in Seattle.
With all the Anime in the media these days compaired to back then when we called it Japanimation, this one robot who for me at least started it all has been lost in the crowd.
