Move protruding USB dongles inside the case

This tiny internal card doesn't just add extra USB headers, but powers them properly using an extra molex connector: good for people sick of weak juice from front-panel USB ports. It's $14 at I Buy Power.

Not as cheap as the "just hack up an ebay/dealextreme hub" strategy; but looks considerably cleaner(and might well work better to boot).
On the minus side, I can't actually find it on their page, any hints?

Alas, it's the same problem as always: press release goes out before product page goes live. Dumb.

Woe. I'd be particularly interested if cables are available. Making those internal USB header cables is hardly impossible; but, between the parts and the time needed to do the fiddly bits properly, a reasonably priced offering would be attractive.

It's frustrating to not see a link to the story on BB's home page (just a photo), then go to gadgets.bb and click the ibuypower link only to find a collage of a website with not a clue of how to find the featured product.
Hint to Rob Beschizza, take the time to actually source the link before adding a product to the Gadgets section. (Or just call it vaporware, and let people know that it is a concept and not actually available).

Does this just add a USB attachment for power, or does that allow me to access USB devices, like mounting a USB memory stick internally?
I'm guessing it's only for providing power, just by looking at the connectors, but I don't know.

Couldn't you do the same by taking one of those slot mounted usb brackets and not mounting them in a slot but leaving them on the bottom of the case, with the dongle plugged in?

I can see some situations where that would be incredibly useful, especially for folks who aren't as into getting hands-on with other alternatives.

This would make a great internal drive for booting! Or maybe a micro linux box.... Pretty cool, want!

Fail for lack of direct link to item on website!
Just let the marketers post their own news, they wouldn't abuse the power now would they?

Why not skip the middleman and have a 5-12 port USB card instead? I have and it works like a dream, including the option of a hub at the bottom of the box with USB dongles plugged in...

Digging further, here are a couple of links:
Press Release: http://www.ibuypower.com/ibpdri/tm.aspx?m=27828
Description: http://www.ibuypower.com/info/ibuypower-internal-expansion-system.aspx
I only find it available as an option on new builds (on the first tab of configurator, listed as a USB Internal Expansion System).
