Nokia netbook brings its "A" game

nokia-booklet-3g-20090824-600.jpg

Nokia arrives at the netbook party just as things are starting to wind down. But what a nice bottle it brought: 3G, GPS, Windows 7, HDMI, and a claimed 12 hours of battery life--not to mention an aluminum body.

How much, Nokes?

"Well, Rob, let's just say that we are hoping for some generous carrier subsidies..."

I'd be willing to pay 5 or 6 hundred for that if the reviews are good. It's pretty much exactly the product I've been waiting for: high-res screen, integrated 3g and GPS, good battery life, nice design.

My ideal mobile device situation is a cellular netbook + dumbphone.

And we are not likely to see it for several months yet if their mobile phone announcement/release practices are anything to go by.

Any idea when we can see these devices?
