   Winkybb, I certainly chuckled at his car collection when contrasted with his “couldn’t afford” a solar installation, but collecting cars isn’t inherently eco-unfriendly. It’s not like he drives them all at once, or even one at a time very often. Putting a few dozen miles a year on a classic car isn’t that bad of a habit.

   Not to be too sanctimonious here, but Greg (based on his apparent hobby of collecting american muscle cars) doesn’t seem to be very “green”.

   More seriously, all these domestic installations are misguided. Renewable energy is at is most efficient on industrial scales. Invest in funds that pool our money to build REALLY BIG solar farms. Much more bang for our buck.
