These awesomely Thriller-esque headphones made their debut at the Nokia design competition this year. Rumor has it you can get your own pair at the Nokia store in London.
Update: Gizmodo tells us they have a pair on display at Giz Gallery in NYC right now.

I’d be tempted if they’re (a) built around a high-quality pair of phones and (b) not more than $30 over the undecorated price. Wouldn’t buy ‘em only as a commercial art object, but as a _functional_ commercial art object they’re amusing.
I’d pay a higher surcharge if this was a one-off, or a cottage-industry limited-quantity item.
I want the funk of 40,000 years on my hair!
