Every time I see a new one of these come to market I become a happier mutant; now we just need to shame the Ontario Government into letting us drive the ZENN electric cars build in our own $#%^ing province.

Why can't they make a car like this that isn't fugly? The Nissan has fishlips and this one has body cladding courtesy of Fisher-Price.

In theory, I love these leetle teeny two-seaters. In practice, though, I doubt I'll ever actually get one.

I live in a big city with excellent public transportation. When I need a car, it's for one of two things: hauling cargo, like several week's worth of groceries; or leaving the city entirely.

Smartcars and Leaves and the like aren't good for either of those things, unfortunately.

Brandon, I think this one has promise; it's mostly just an issue of the paint job. Make the gray stuff green and you've got a truncated Civic SI!

Will someone please make an electric car that looks like an actual car? They're trying so hard to make electrics look like they're from THE FUTURE!! and it always looks silly.

I like the paint job! But yes, I would like an Elise or Mini Cooper cab in that paint job, not an electric car that cannot even get me to the beach in Erie.

An Elise? Like as in Lotus? Yeah, I'd like one too ;P

They do offer an Isotope green for the lotus, that's very close to the car pictured here.

I can't believe more people don't buy Lotuses. The Exige 260, they're top-end model is only $75,000. It's a bargain for 0-60 in 4 seconds car.

What? We're talking about electrics. Peh. I think I've said it before here, but just in case I didn't, the infrastructure in urban areas doesn't support electric cars. It's hard to plug in an electric when I street park, and even if I do run a long extension cord out to the car, I'd find that some bum has unplugged it from the car in order to charge his Apple Newton.

Except for this fact, I'd already have some sort of electric option (Golf cart, most likely).
