Cars! Natural Gas street-rod blasts out of gangster age

092709_ford_1.jpg

AVF Tech's 1933 Ford Street-Rod contains a 7-liter engine, drive-by-wire and a six speed automatic gearbox. When completed, it'll push out 600 hp and blow away just about everything else manufactured in the last 75 years.

Oh, yes, and it runs on natural gas. [AVF Tech via TA]

Aw man, an autobox? That ain't no fun!

If it's something like a twin-clutch DSG, that's fine. But if it's a conventional slushbox it ruins the entire vehicle.

I'll have one without a roof please.

Looks like they're using a Factory Five kit, the '33 Hot Rod:

The modern front suspension gave it away. Not that it's a bad thing - by all accounts, Factory Five makes some incredible kits.

Given the power and size of the engine, they must be running the LS7? One of the best engines made today! By our humble little GM!
