I bought the silver version of this computer in new zealand from warehouse stationary. It has been slow from day one! I got a friend who knows a bit about computers to have a look at it, they managed to speed it up marginally by turning off the special effects on vista home basic, or something. Even so, when you open a window there is a 5 to 10 second delay before anything happens; very annoying! I've been using it like this for a year now, its bearable but I'm thinking of replacing it shortly. The monitor is great so I'm going to try and replace just the computer. However, it has unusual plugs on the cables connecting it to the computer, so it may not be possible. One thing is for certain, I won't be buying anymore acer products!

BTW You can sync songs to your pre with p.c. ...
Use something called "DoubleTwist" awesome program. I use it all the time. Sync's my songs movies and pictures to my phone. And for ringtones go to your Palm pre (Make sure it's in USB Drive or Media Sync) and go to where it's located (On your computer) then go to the ringtones folder and put the .mp3 file in there.
No problem.
So f u all palm pre is awesome.

I was looking for the page in the instructables on finding a lawyer after the FCC raids you. This is licensed spectrum we are talking about, here.

Seriously, folks, they are not calling it "pirate" because it is legal. If you have a lot to lose, don't do this. FCC "forfeiture" is typically $7500 and up.

Funny,

As an energy auditor, I had the same skeptical view until I saw the savings over and over in all kinds of applications, so all I can say is the good ones work, and I would say get over your skepticism and try one for yourself. I have been recommending them for two years and have not had one case of non performance. Skeptic no longer, and no, I don't sell them for you skeptics. lol

Best and Safest Tick remover is the Scientifically proven Trix Tick Remover, found on Ebay with all the other inferior ones. The Trix has been tested and is produced in Sweden, imported to the US.It removes the entire Tick, not just the body. You never want to leave a Tick head embedded, it spews out all the bad stuff and can really cause some serious health problems. See a video at www.tickremover.com. I've used it and it is easier than I thought it would be, weighs less than an ounce and looks like a Pen. It's Great to take on a trip in the woods, hunting etc. Under $10 on Ebay!!
